Details

Aciclovir is a synthetic purine nucleoside antiviral drug, one of the most commonly used antiviral drugs, mainly used for various infections caused by herpes simplex virus, can be used for the primary or recurrent skin, mucous membrane, genital infection and HSV infection in people with immune deficiency. As the first choice for the treatment of HSV encephalitis, it is superior to adenosine glycoside in reducing morbidity and mortality. Also can be used for herpes zoster, epstein-barr virus, and immunodeficiency complicated by chicken pox infection. Local only for skin, skin absorption is less.
 
The main side effects of aciclovir were nausea, vomiting, renal pain, backache, abdominal pain, hematuria, and fever. After withdrawal of the drug, most patients have good prognosis after active treatment, and only some patients have kidney damage of varying degrees, even life-threatening.
