Details
Chlorhexyl acetate is a white or almost white crystalline powder; Odorless and bitter. Dissolved in ethanol and slightly dissolved in water.
Chlorhexidine acetate has strong broad-spectrum bacteriostasis, bactericidal effect and low toxicity. Its main mechanism of action is to destroy the protoplasmic membrane of the cell wall of pathogenic microorganisms and rapidly kill gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, bacterial spores, fungi and viruses.

Cationic broad-spectrum antibacterial drug, belonging to the guanidine family. It works by disrupting the cell membranes of bacteria. Also disinfectant. It has strong bactericidal effect on gram-positive bacteria, negative bacteria and fungi, and is also effective on pseudomonas aeruginosa. It can be used to disinfect the skin, wash the wound and sterilize the surgical instruments.
1. The disinfectant
Used for hand washing before surgery, soak in 0.02% water solution (1:5000) for 3min and disinfect the surgical field with 0.5% alcohol solution (containing 70% alcohol), whose efficacy is similar to that of iodine tincture. It can also be used for sterilizing surgical instruments with 0.1% water solution (add 0.5% sodium nitrite inside to prevent rust). The storage equipment can be soaked in 0.02% water solution (containing 0.1% sodium nitrite) and changed every 2 weeks. As well as skin or wound disinfection with 1% spray, or 0.05% water solution to wash the wound.
2. Urological and gynecological drugs
