Trastuzumab was introduced into the Chinese market on September 5, 2002. It is indicated for HER2-positive breast cancer and gastric cancer, and the trade name is Herceptin. As China is an area with high incidence of breast cancer and gastric cancer, and 25%~30% HER2 overexpression in primary breast cancer, trastuzumab has maintained a stable growth in China.
