Its relative molecular weight is 338.27 and its melting point is 158.5 ~ 159.5 ℃. Because VC has the disadvantages of poor stability and easy oxidation, the alternative product of VC, ascorbic acid glucoside, is derived. Efficacy and function
1. Brighten skin tone and inhibit melanin formation. After ascorbic acid glucoside is converted into vitamin C and enters skin cells, it can significantly reduce melanin formation by inhibiting tyrosinase activity. Inhibition of tyrosinase reduces dopoquinone, an intermediate substance in the synthesis of melanin.
