Soluble polyimide is a polyimide with a special structure, which not only has the toughness of thermoplastic materials, but also has the bonding properties of adhesives, and can be used for composite materials and high temperature adhesives.

The soluble polyimide (PI1005) produced by our company is light yellow in appearance; the particle size is about 2-4mm; the solubility is 10-15g (100g special solvent).

Mechanical properties: unnotched impact strength ≥ 50KJ/M2; product thermal deformation temperature ≥ 250 ℃. The method of use is as follows (small experiment of scraping film on metal surface):

Use a dry and clean glass cup to weigh a small amount of powder; then slowly add the solvent (DMAC, NMP, DMF, etc.), stir with a glass rod (or mechanical stirrer), it will gradually dissolve (can be heated at 50-60 ℃ to increase the dissolution rate ); adjust the solid content according to the required viscosity, and it will be a clear brownish-yellow solution after complete dissolution; stick a small amount of the solution on a glass plate and apply it to the required metal surface, then scrape it flat; and finally dry and heat treatment.

Put the coated material into the blast oven, lay it flat, and clean the oven to prevent dust and foreign matter from entering. Then do gradient drying:

80-100℃    10-20min

130-140℃  10-20min

160-165℃  20-30min

If a higher temperature is allowed, the adhesion and mechanical properties will be better. After the heat treatment is completed, the temperature can be naturally cooled.
